Who INTAK is

INTAK is a web design studio based in Ankara, Türkiye. We build three-dimensional scenes that run in the browser and content-heavy corporate sites. Our name comes from an archaic Turkish word: intak — the art of making someone speak.

01 Where our name comes from

in·tak — noun, archaic Turkish. The art of making someone speak. We chose the word because it matches the description of the work: an organisation already has something to say, and usually cannot say it. What we do is make that story visible and memorable.

02 What we do

We do two kinds of work. The first is immersive sites: walkable three-dimensional scenes that open in the browser and need no install or plugin. The second is corporate sites: multi-page structures carrying dense content, built with speed and readability first.

Both come from the same hands. Design, interface, 3D scene and back end are not parcelled out to separate contractors, which is why what is promised in the design does not get lost in the code. The services page has the detail.

The shortest way to show what we say is the work itself. All three are live:

04 How we work

We do not use templates. Every project starts with a conversation about what you want to say; the design comes out of that conversation. We do not start writing code in a direction you have not approved, and you follow the work in progress on a live link.

One thing we prefer to say up front: we are not right for every job. If what you have to say is a straightforward corporate brochure, a three-dimensional scene is a burden rather than a benefit. When that is the case we say so in the first conversation.
