3D product configurator
A 3D product configurator is a tool that lets the customer change a product’s options and see the result in three dimensions immediately.

Colour, material, size, accessories — the customer selects and the model on screen changes at once. It is common in furniture, cars, machinery, jewellery and fitted kitchens: places where the product has many variants and photographing every combination is impossible.
The real gain is not visual. The configurator removes the "will it look like this?" question before the order, which reduces returns and back-and-forth. For that to work the model has to be correct: wrong proportions or a wrong material produce a worse result than no configurator at all.
When to use it
When it makes sense
When the product has many variants and the customer wants to see the combination before buying.
When it is unnecessary
When there are two or three options. A colour swatch and good photographs do that job more cheaply.
Common questions
Does it connect to our stock system?
It can. Which combinations are available, and at what price, can be read from your own system; the configurator then does not offer a combination that cannot be produced.
